Off Campus learning

Off campus learning options are offered for a number of theory-based modules at Island Health College.  Delivery of this training may be by self-paced workbook, online delivery (also called e-learning), online assessment, or a combination of these. Please see the 2012 Timetable with Costings and the webpage for each qualification for more information.

A number of units of competency in the courses we offer are common to more than one qualification.  This means that students who are interested in enrolling in other courses, after completing their training in one, will obtain credit towards the second qualification for these 'common units'.  This streamlines the process of gaining other related qualifications, and helps students consider their study options.
