Training in natural therapies

HLT52515 Diploma of Reflexology

This qualification reflects the role of reflexologists who provide reflexology for relaxation and therapeutic treatments to address specific needs and health concerns.

Practitioners maybe self employed or work in a larger health service.

Reflexology is an ancient, holistic therapy where specialized foot massage techniques are used to promote healing in other areas of the body.

Reflexology is a non-invasive and very effective modality which has carved an impressive niche in the field of complementary therapies. Reflex points on the feet (and sometimes hands and ears) correspond to all body systems and their components. Skilful stimulation of these points helps the body and mind to relax, heal and return to a natural state of harmony and homeostasis.

Qualified students will be able to practice as a Reflexologist, register with professional associations, gain insurance and obtain a provider number with some Health Funds.

Duration: 12 months full time

An enrolment fee of $100 is payable upon enrolment. The enrolment fee is in addition to the course fees and is a once only payment. Please see the current Course Guide (in Schedules,Forms & Guides page) for more information about payment options.

Award: Successful students are awarded a HLT52515 Diploma of Reflexology.
